Finding trans inclusive medical practitioners can be hard, so we’re inviting trans people to anonymously review any medical professionals they’ve seen. If you’re interested in anonymously sharing your experiences please fill out this survey https://forms.gle/QXZf46QxRcCH7f8L7
Who’s doing this?
This project is being run by Ygender, a peer support and advocacy collective by and for trans/gender diverse young people. The survey questions were written and tested by trans young people from Ygender, and trans youth have been in charge of every step of this project. You can find more information about who we are and what we do at ygender.org.au
Who can fill out the survey?
Any trans/gender diverse person who’s seen a medical professional in Australia for any reason can fill out the survey and their review will be posted anonymously.
What will happen with my data if I fill out the survey?
The reviews will be posted publicly and in full on the Ygender website so that trans/gender diverse people can read them and decide which medical professionals they want to see. We won’t use the survey results for any other purpose.
We don’t ask for your name and we’ll remove it from your review if you share it anyway. Beyond that, whatever you choose to share is up to you. We don’t edit the reviews so whatever you say when filling out the survey is exactly what we’ll post. Most of the questions are optional, so if you’d rather not share something you can just skip it.
How reliable are the reviews?
We’re asking some pretty comprehensive questions, but each review is just one person’s experience and what they chose to share about it. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do with the information they share.
